If you have tried using a spare replacement original AV multiout cable with your Sony PS3 console and there is still no picture or video displayed on your TV screen, its most likely that there is something wrong with the port. The port is actually soldered directly onto the PCB inside the console, so replacing it would be quiet challenging to begin with. So you can attempt to refurbish the current port to see if you can restore it.
1) Position a spot light or torch directly into the AV port.
2) Have a look for any bent gold metal contact pins. If you see some that are misaligned then get a flat head and reposition to being bent to straight. Also scrape off any rust corrosion or dirt you can possibly see.
3) Get a can of compressed air from a local computer hardware shop such as Maplin. Attach the straw and blast it directly into the hole.
4) Use a vacuum cleaner to suck up the remains of the dust and dirt in the AV port.
5) Reset the PS3 display settings back to the way Sony left them from the factory by holding down the power button on the front of the console for 5 seconds, when its in standby mode red light on. You will hear a second beep you can then release it.
