Can you play a PS3 on a portable DVD Player?
If you want to connect and play your Sony PlayStation PS3 console on your portable DVD player, you will require support of composite TV inputs to start with. Usually you can identify this without any technical knowledge by looking at the back to see if there are three yellow, red and white colour sockets. If you find these thats great! All you require is an AV multiout lead for your PS3 which you can buy from argos if not already supplied with. No modifications or chips are required to make this work.
1) Connect the AV multiout lead into the back of the console port.
2) Connect the multicolour plugs accordingly into the side of the portable DVD player.
3) Now that the connection is made, switch on both console and player.
4) Find the correct AV mode until you see the PS3 XMB menu appear.
