If the head on your VHS video player becomes dirty, you will notice during playback the picture and audio on your television will become fuzzy. If you want to enhance the performance from your VHS recorder, you can clean the head inside the unit. Cleaning can be accomplished in two ways. One way being to open it up and clean it manually or to purchase a special head cleaning kit.
1) Locate the cassette window of the tape provided in the kit.
2) Pour 4-5 drops of cleaning solution into the compartment.
3) Push the tape into your VHS and press play.
4) Leaving it playing for 30 seconds and eject when the time is up. Remember not to throw it away, it is still reusable for next time!
