If your car subwoofer dust cap has become loose, rattles or has come off the sub, you can glue it back on. Instead of sending it to your car audio shop to repair, you can fix it yourself, by using a cheap silicon based glue.
Instructions
1)Get your subwoofer and remove the old glue that is dried on the car subwoofer cone. You can remove the old glue by getting a flat head screwdriver and scratch it off.
2)Get your silicon glue and get your dust cap. Using your glue gentle pour on the glue around the edge of the dust cap. Make sure you do this carefully because if you make a mistake and spill the glue on the car subwoofer cap, you can't remove it. Making the dust cap look ugly!
3)Place your subwoofer on a flat surface, such as a table. Get your dust cap and slowly and carefully place the cap in the middle of your sub.
4)Let the glue try for 15 minutes minimum. You can get a hair dryer and dry the glue faster and speed up the process of the glue sticking.
