If you want to hard reset your Nokia N73 please be aware that it will not unlock your phone to all networks and it also won't remove the lock password on the phone if you have forgot it. All it will do is wipe the mass memory clean and restore the phone settings back to factory defaults. If you wasn't already aware there is a hard reset button code key that is used to perform this. Please be aware if you have got any important information or files on your phone, make a back up using Nokia PC suite. Since it will be all permanently delete off once you have done this and there is no way to retrieve these once they are gone!
1) Press the power button on the top of the phone to turn it off.
2) Hold down the following buttons in this order:
'Green Key' + 'The Star' + 'Number 3' + 'Power Button'.
3) Keep holding them down until you see the Nokia logo appear on screen.
4) If it asks you for a lock code try 12345 its the normal stock code unless you have changed it.
5) The phone will now be set back to its factory default settings.
