If you have recently purchased a car audio amplifier and its not turning on at all, its not going to power your speakers or subwoofers connected to it.
Here are some brilliant ideas to help you troubleshoot your car amp to get it powering on.
1) Check the power wire is connected properly to the car battery. Also check that its firmly secured into the correct 12 volt terminal on the car amp.
2) Check the fuses. There are two. One in the fuse holder on the red wire and the other directly fitted onto the car amplifier. A blown fuse will break the circuit and the car amp will not turn on at all.
3) Check the remote wire is connected. The remote wire sends a signal down to the amplifier to power on when you key the cars ignition and the stereo comes on. Its a blue wire and its really thin.
4) Check your ground. If the spot you have used on your vehicles chassis is not bear metal and there is paint touching, its not going to be a proper connection. Sand the area down and try again.
