If you discover to hear a strange fuzzy sound from all of your car speakers, it can affect the sound quality levels dramatically. The fuzzy sound itself can be caused by several things, but most likely it is because the speaker is blown out or damaged. If you notice that the noise gets louder when you increase the volume on the stereo, its definitely your speakers that need replacing soon. But before you jump to any conclusion just yet, check all the speaker wires on the back of the radio and terminals on the driver to ensure they are not touching anything at all.
1) In most cases pop off the door card. Unscrew all screws, unclip and lift upwards.
2) Place it down out of the way.
3) Unscrew the screws holding the speaker in place, disconnect the wires and pop it out.
4) Insert your brand new replacement of the same size into its mount and connect the wires in correct polarity. While you are at it, you can install sound proofing material such as dynomat to reduce the amount of rattles and shakes, overall to help reduce vibrations during this simple installation.
