When you open the door on your Nissan 350z does the driver side window drop down 60mm?
From leaving the factory, it is set to drop down to a maximum level of 10mm in height. The window dropping problem usually occurs because of removing the cables from the car battery. When you do this, the motor looses it alignment levels with the mechanism, due to getting deprogrammed. If you notice the same problem with your car, you will need to perform the window reset procedure to revert the drop length back to normal.
Instructions
1) Position the glass to the highest arrangement.
2) Continue to hold the reset switch and lower the glass to the bottom arrangement.
3) Let go of the reset switch. Check if the reset switch reverts back to its normal position.
4) Then go ahead and adjust the glass so it goes back to the top arrangement.
