You can add polyfill to your subwoofer enclosure whether its ported or sealed. This is an white color fluffy material that is placed or glued into the inside of the box. When a driver is placed inside, it gets tricked into thinking that the internal box volume is increased, making it think that its placed into a bigger box. Providing more thicker and deep bass to be accomplished. Although this sounds great, some boxes are overstuffed with too much material. Also you have to experiment by how much is required to be added. Sometimes adding too much polyfill stuffing will make it sound worse than it was without it. So you will need to gradually reduce it to find where the sweat sounding spot is. Learn how to remove the polyfill stuffing today. You might also find this useful if you want to salvage it from an old box and transfer it into a new one, as buying it can be quiet costly.
1) Take off your jumper. This is because its messy stuff to work with and sticks to your clothes.
2) Get a screwdriver and unscrew all the screws around the sub.
3) Lift it out and disconnect the speaker wires. Place the driver down.
4) Now look inside the box. Either it is glued around or has been folded inside to fit.
5) If its folded, all you need to do is pull out the amount you want to remove. If its glued in, you will need to tear it from the bottom pulling it towards you.
