The PSP vita console has a brilliant high quality screen that uses OLED lighting technology. If you are gaming on your PSP vita outdoors, you may have problems viewing whats on the screen. The graphics displayed on the screen may appear really dark. To overcome this issue, you can adjust the brightness level on the PSP vita's screen higher, to make the graphics appear brighter, with better contrast. This will benefit you gamers that play outdoors, but remember the battery life will be noticeable decreased. This is because the screen has to pull more power out of the battery pack.
1) Power on your PSP vita console.
2) Launch a game of your choice that you have difficulty viewing on the screen.
3) Hold down the 'PS' button, it is the one that lights up blue that has a PlayStation logo.
4) A broken down view of the settings menu will now appear on the screen. The first option that will appear is called 'Brightness'. It will have a small adjustable slider point below it, indicating how high the brightness level is set at.
5) Using your finger, increase the slider point upwards to increase the brightness level. While making this change, go back to the gameplay and see if it has made any noticeable difference. If it is still a little too dark, then increase it slightly more until your satisfied with the improvement.
