Sometimes sim cards can malfunction and give you a error message or not be recognized at all by your device. This usually happens because the gold contacts on the sim card have become dirty. If this is the case, they will not be able to send electrical signals properly to the slot and cause a technical difficult. Giving your sim card card a quick clean commonly fixes this kind of problem.
1) Switch off mobile phone and remove sim card from slot.
2) Find the gold contacts, pour a few drops of rubbing alcohol directly onto this area.
3) Get a regular tissue and rub in the solution.
4) Reinsert to test to see if this has fixed the issue. If still fault is persistent repeat clean procedure again.
