Question: I have a subwoofer phase control switch setting on my car amplifier, should i set it to 0 or 180? Does it affect how the bass sounds does it make it louder?
Answer: The subwoofer phase control allows you to set it to normal or reverse. All this does is change the way the wiring is outputted to the voice coil. So lets say you wire an negative terminal with a positive wire and the positive terminal with an negative terminal, you can flick the switch to reverse 180 to correct it. So basically it just changes the direction of the cone movement thats all.
