How To Make a Noisy Washing Machine Silent Quiet

If you find that your washing machine is really noisy when spinning, loading or draining, chances are that the mechanically side is perfectly fine. Usually the feet that are located at the bottom may need adjusting to the right level. It could be that one feet is higher than the other causing an unbalance transferring vibrations onto the floor and kitchen surroundings.

1) Pull out the washing machine from its location.

2) Turn the machine upside down so that you can easily access both the front and rear feet.

3) Unscrew the lock nuts on all of the four feet using your hands. Now adjust them to make them equally across the kitchen floor surface in all four corners. Do the same for the rear ones as well. Then re tighten the lock nuts once your happy with the levels.

4) Reposition the washing machine back in. Get a spirit level and see whether or not its now level. The bubble on the meter should be accurately in the middle position.
