If your car stereo headunit only has one RCA preamp on the back of it, you probably assume that you are limited to just connecting only one car amplifier. If you want to connect an additional car amplifier to your audio system and you only have one RCA preamp, as an alternative you can use cheap splitter cables. This will then allow you to have two more RCA female connectors to connect another amp to. This is possible by running another long pair of RCA jack cables down your car directly right into the trunk.
1) You will need to buy two separate male to female RCA splitter adapter plugs with double ends. Try to purchase ones with gold plating for better sound quality and less interference.
2) Remove the cd player from the din slot.
3) Look at that back locate the one pair of RCA's.
4) Connect one splitter cable into the white RCA on the deck and connect the second splitter into the red RCA socket.
5) Now you have another two more RCA female connectors to plug in another RCA cable into. This can then feed directly back to your second amp when you run it through your car.
