If you don't have a battery for a psp console, but you have a charger, then you can still power up the psp by using it. Using the charger, the psp will use the charger as a power source, so you can't really take your psp on a portable journeys, as you will need a electrical outlet.
Instructions:
1)Plug in the charger into a electrical outlet and switch the electrical outlet on.
2)Next plug the charging plug into the charger socket on the psp console.
3)Flick the power switch in the upwards direction and your psp will power on without a battery. If you unplug the charger from the psp or an electrical outlet, the psp will turn off.
